I has worked in the GIS field for over 25 years in the academic, public and private sectors and have published a number of papers on applications, data conversion, and GIS management. I hold a B.S. and M.S. in Geography, and am both a GISP and a Certified Public Manager. I'm the Chair of the Central Florida GIS Workshop and have been the GIS Manager for Volusia County since 2005. I teach GIS at both the undergraduate and graduate level as an adjunct instructor in the Public Administration Department at the University of Central Florida and in the Marine and Environmental Science Department at Daytona State College.
